A car has major technical themes of "safety", "connectivity", "comfort" and "environment", and in order to respond to such needs, there is a rapid progress in making the cars more electronic and more electronically controllable.

SMK proposes various solutions to each of the technical themes. A camera module supports the realization of "Safety". In the technical theme of "Connectivity", a Bluetooth^® module for wireless connection with the car and various information equipment, a WiMAX module focusing on the constant connection between the car and the Internet and various connectors connecting various function units of the car and externally/internally. In the realization of "comfort", other than the touch panel (top market share) which is the key device in HMI (Human Machine Interface) are remote controls and various switches.
For the technical theme of "environment", SMK proposes power saving, lightness and various connectors for electrical vehicles.
