We are pleased to announce the development and commencement of marketing of a receptacle (mid-mounting design) for a interface connector SMT, multi pin connector with coaxial “DI-5 series” which conforms to cdmaOne ?NC-R1-18.

In recent years, with the thinner and lower profile of the mobile phones, requirements for a further lower profile and thinner components have increased.

We have previously launched the on-board design of the same series and have earned favorable ratings. For this new product, by adopting the mid-mounting method (to rest in a recess provided on a PWB surface) we have made the profile of the PWB surface height lower. Compared to our previously launched on-board design, a lower profile of about 53% has been realized, and this contributes to smaller and thinner equipments.

Features	1) 0.5mm-spacing coaxial interface connector SMT. 2) Conforms to cdmaOne™NC-R1-18. 3) A mid-mounting design (to rest in a recess provided on a PWB surface) contributes to thinner equipment. The height from the PWB is 1.4mm [0S01F] and 1.1mm (excluding the key portions). 4) The number of pins is 1 coaxial pin and 18 signal pins. 5) A normal design (lower side contacts) and reverse design (upper side contacts) are available. 6) Compatible to four communication system mating types upon request (cdma 2001X common key, EV-DO common (WIN series) key, USB cable with common charger for WIN series key and earphone integration key). 7) The metal shell integrated reinforcement hardware structure and the insert-molding of the contact and housing increases resistance to tilting uses. 8) Operating life is as long as 10,000 times. 9) Packaged on an embossed tape for automatic mounting operation. 10) Various custom specifications are available. 11) RoHS compliant.
