DSI-III detector switch developed
We are pleased to announce the development and the commencement of shipment of samples of a DSI series detector switch, DSI-III, which features improved operability. Specifics of this switch are outlined below.
A recent years' trend for detector switches calls for better operability and a structure around which designing equipment is simpler and easier, as equipment such as mobile phones, digital cameras and portable digital equipment has become increasingly smaller.
The development of this DSI-III is our way to respond to such market needs.
This new product has a larger (400% of DSI-II in volume) operation lever being only 1.0 mm thick, equal to that of DSI-II, to ease designing of associated parts. Also, the extended on-stroke distance to 2 mm (200% of DSI-II) helps improve end users' tactile feedback.
Furthermore, a variety of 8 options in all are available in terms of the lever width of standard and wider, terminal configuration of J and L, and availability of the boss.
Our plan calls for proactive product development and provision of new products for the small equipment market.
