We are pleased to announce the development and commencement of marketing of the ID-01 series 1.0 mm-pitched 2-pin pressure-connecting wire-to-board connector for use in small portable equipment such as mobile phones.

Demand has increased for cable connectors for connection of microphone or speaker cables featuring a smaller footprint for greater end product design flexibility as portable equipment such as mobile phones has become smaller and more multi-functional.

This new product is a 1.0 mm-pitched 2-pin wire-to-board connector of a pressure-connecting system developed to serve such demand. The mating height of the receptacle and the plug is the industry’s lowest at 1.2 mm with the width being 4.0 mm and depth 1.8 mm to help design downsized end products. The contact system comprises 2-point contact design resistant to vibration and dropping impact for high level contact reliability.
