SMK Releases New Bluetooth® Smart-enabled IR blaster
SMK Corporation announces the development of the Bluetooth® Smart-enabled IR blaster.
Many existing household electrical appliances such as TVs, air conditioners, and lighting systems currently use an IR Remote Control to the provide the control of the product. The IR Remote Controls require the user to be in the same location and within line of sight of the appliance.The products attached to the appliance extends the usable range of operation by converting a wireless Bluetooth® Smart signal to an infrared signals then broadcasting to existing household electrical appliances such as TVs, air conditioners, and lighting systems. This provides the home owner access to control of his home appliances via a Smart Phone, or other Bluetooth® Smart Enabled devices.
A variety of devices are enabled and controlled via networks. This product serves a growing market demand for technology that allows users to operate existing household electrical appliances through network connection via smartphones and tablets.
