　SMK has developed  Milweb™ Sleep, a non-contact sleep depth monitoring solution that uses millimeter-wave radar sensing technology. This next-generation technology precisely estimates sleep quality when placed beside your bed. It automatically provides an optimal sleep environment tailored to the user in coordination with smart home appliances. 
In recent years, the impact of sleep quality on health and quality of life has received widespread recognition, resulting in the rapid growth of the sleep technology market. However, conventional sleep monitoring devices are primarily wearable ones and can be burdensome for many users. Additionally, products that require cloud connectivity have encountered issues related to communication environments and the management of personal information. Against this backdrop, we have worked to develop a new solution that enables more comfortable and secure sleep measurement.

Milweb™ Sleep uses 24GHz millimeter-wave radar technology to detect subtle body movements with high sensitivity and without contact. This provides a level of comfort and convenience that is unattainable with wearable sensors. Furthermore, our proprietary sleep estimation algorithm, developed by incorporating insights from sleep and vital sign specialists, visualizes the four stages of sleep—awake, REM sleep, light sleep, and deep sleep—with accuracy comparable to an electroencephalograph. This product does not require a cloud connection. It can determine sleep depth in real time using only the sensor. Therefore, it is not dependent on a network environment and does not transmit personal information externally.

Additionally, Milweb™ Sleep features Bluetooth^® communication capabilities and complies with the international standard “Matter.” This enables interoperability with smart home devices across manufacturers, facilitating advanced home automation such as:

• Gradually dimming lights when you fall asleep
• Opening window shades at the optimal time for waking up
