Energy Harvest Sheet

In addition to solar power charging and generation, the energy harvest sheet comes with wireless power transfer technology. It is friendly to the environment and supports energy self-sufficiency. It provides a sustainable and efficient supply of energy.

Features

  • No need to replace batteries, reducing running costs and making devices maintenance-free.
  • No need for dry batteries, making devices thinner and easier to use.
  • Improved drop impact resistance due to weight reduction by battery-free design.
  • Improved water resistance and robustness by eliminating the battery cover.
  • Contribute toward reducing battery disposal and CO2 emissions through the use of renewable energy.

Use Cases

Remote Control Units
It supports the charging of remote control units, such as those for air conditioners and television sets. As there is no need for dry cell batteries, it removes the hassle of battery replacement and disposal. Convenience is also improved for the user as cables are not needed for charging. Removing the need for dry cell batteries also increases freedom in the design of the remote control unit's shape.
IoT Sensors
Adding an energy harvest sheet to an IoT sensor allows the sensor to be used semipermanently without replacing batteries. Eliminating the need for maintenance also increases freedom in places where IoT sensors can be installed. It becomes possible to develop sustainable and efficient solutions that use IoT sensors.
PC Accessories
Using the energy harvest sheet removes the need for dry cell batteries and charging cables. This increases freedom in the shapes and designs of accessories and allows even thinner and lighter product designs to be achieved. In addition, it allows maintenance-free long-term use by eliminating the need for battery replacement. This is a major convenience for accessories that are frequently used.

System Configuration

Charging Methods
It uses two charging methods: energy harvesting through solar power generation, and wireless power transfer over the air. Energy harvesting directly converts sunlight and indoor light energy into electricity. Wireless power transfer uses microwaves and such to transfer power to a different location.
Case/Exterior
The size of the product itself as well as the antenna size can be customized according to the requirements of our customers.
Functions and Options
It comes with a Bluetooth® Low Energy communication function. Acceleration sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, LEDs, and switches are options that can be added.
