Flexible Film Heaters
Thin, Light, Flexible, and Warm—Planar Heating Device with a New Sense
SMK's flexible film heater is a thin and flexible heating device made using stretchable, conductive ink on a special film substrate. As this heater can be bent and installed in thin spaces, it can add heating function to places that have curved surfaces or small thicknesses which were difficult to do so with past products.

Features
Shape, size, and such can be customized according to our customers' requirements.
-
By using a flexible substrate, the product has excellent stretchability and can wrap well around objects, allowing stable heating performance even for complex shapes.
-
Being thin and flexible, there is high freedom in the installation structure.
-
Heating distribution can be adjusted by changing the shape of the heating pattern.
-
The heating temperature can be set due to the use of a controller without a microcontroller.
-
*
Controller: Compatible with USB Power Delivery, it can provide the optimal supply of power according to the application. (SMK's optional function)

-
*
As the product uses a flexible substrate, the temperature does not change even when stretched. (According to SMK's research)
Use Cases
