HarvestLoop™

This is an energy harvesting module to replace the CR2032 coin battery. Integrating a battery, photovoltaic (PV) cell, communication circuit, and various types of sensors into a single unit, it has a compact design that fits into existing coin battery cases. It eliminates the need for battery replacement in small devices through its self-contained power supply using a PV cell. It can quickly meet requirements such as removing the need for battery replacement while using an existing product design, or adding communication function to a device.

Usage

It can replace coin batteries being used in various applications. It eliminates the effort and burden of battery replacement.

Features

As it is compatible with CR2032, it allows energy harvesting technology to be introduced without significant changes to the existing product design or infrastructure. The use of energy harvesting technology achieves both maintenance-free operation—in terms of battery replacement—and lower environmental impact. Functions can be added flexibly as it comes with Bluetooth.

This is an all-in-one IoT module that integrates a secondary battery, PV cell, Bluetooth® Low Energy communication circuit, and various types of sensors into a single unit. It also supports the option of wireless power transfer (WPT) via an external antenna to provide full performance even in places where light does not reach.
